An Indian man confessed to stabbing his niece and nephew and two of their friends to death as revenge after a dispute with his brother-in-law. The man, identified only by his first name, Devraj, 23, lured his sister's two children into the hills while they were on their way back from school.

A middle-aged woman is currently recuperating in a Lagos hospital, after robbers stormed her rented apartment on the Lagos Island, during which she stabbed one of the assailants to death. She said: “We told them that these fishes are forbidden in our area because we don’t consume them and if you must eat it, you must remove the scale but I don’t think they listened to our advice. “Before we knew it, two of the labourers died and one of them could not speak anymore. Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State was thrown into mourning as a result of the death of three persons from generator fumes and fire outbreak. It was learnt on Thursday that a family of three, involving a husband, his wife and his child died in Emeyal community in Ogbia, after inhaling fumes from a generator.
