An Indian man confessed to stabbing his niece and nephew and two of their friends to death as revenge after a dispute with his brother-in-law.
The man, identified only by his first name, Devraj, 23, lured his sister's two children into the hills while they were on their way back from school.
He then stabbed them to death, as well two other children who killed simply for being there. All of them were between four and six years old.
The murderer then went on the run for two years but when he was caught by police, he confessed to the killings, which police say were motivated by 'differences' he had with his brother-in-law.
He told police roughly where he had dumped the bodies, leading them two four tiny skeletons after a four-hour search.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Rajesh Kumar Chechi said: 'During questioning, he admitted to killing his sister's children over differences he had had with his brother-in-law.'
