A gunman has reportedly shot dead three people and injured several others at a Roma camp in Roye, northern France.
A man, a woman and a six-month old child were reportedly killed in the deadly attack, which started at 4:30pm local time.
The gunman was eventually arrested after he was seriously injured in a firefight with the police.
Two police officers and a child were also wounded by the lone shooter at the traveller camp.
It is unclear what motivated the attack in the northern town of Roye, situated around 110 kilometres north of Paris.
