The Officer-in-charge of the Osiele Police Post, Abeokuta, Ogun State, John Mafoya, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, has been arrested and is being quizzed at the state police command headquarters for allegedly raping a student of the Federal College of Education, Osiele, identified simply as Oluwaseun. PUNCH Metro learnt that Mafoya was arrested after some students of the college reported the matter at the Odeda Police Division. The case was afterwards transferred to the state command headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta. Our correspondent gathered that on Thursday, April 30, policemen from the Osiele post arrested Oluwaseun for her involvement in a mob attack on a serving member of the National Youth Service Corps in the college, identified only as Oladimeji.
