Three soldiers and 123 Boko Haram militants were killed when the Islamist group attacked a Chadian army contingent in northern Cameroon, the Chadian military said Friday. No fewer than two persons were feared dead on Wednesday as a commercial bus collided with a trailer along the Mile 2 end of the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway in Lagos. It was gathered that the commercial bus driver was driving against traffic to avoid gridlock at Mile 2. The collision was said to have been fatal because both vehicles were moving at top speed. A source, who claimed to be an eyewitness, said the accident occurred around 8am. According to the source, who identified himself simply as Ifeanyi, the expressway, where the incident occurred, is usually busy at that time of the day.
