Vin Diesel Shares Touching Tribute to Paul Walker on Anniversary of His Death

Vin Diesel posted a touching tribute to his late friend and costar Paul Walker on Sunday, Nov. 30, one year after the star died in a tragic car accident in Santa Clarita, Calif.
Diesel, who has been vocal about mourning his Fast & Furious brother, shared a sweet snap of his daughter Hania Riley Vincent laughing with Walker. “He was a part of so much in my life...long personal talks with my mother or babysitting the Alpha Angel…he took a certain pride in being Uncle Pablo,” Diesel wrote on Facebook.
“After all, we were filming a scene in FF4 the day [Hania] was born, and he being the only one I told, encouraged me to go in and cut the umbilical cord. He was an important part of my transition into fatherhood...that healthy family member, with the most positive outlook on life,” Diesel continued, before concluding, “A year ago today...a year of mourning...and his absence still leaves me speechless. We miss you Pablo.”
The handsome actor’s life was taken at the age of 40 after a Porsche he was riding in with pal Rodger Rodas (who also died) slammed into a tree and burst into flames. Following the crash, Diesel visited the crash site and used a police car’s loud speaker to tell mourning fans: “Thank you for coming down here and showing that angel up in heaven how much you appreciated him.”
