Nick Cannon dating rumors have been swirling ever since it was first confirmed that he and wife, Mariah Carey, would be ending their six-year marriage. The rumor mill has linked
him to both Amber Rose, who is also currently going through a divorce, and “Wild N’ Out” model Brittany Dailey. However, the father of two insists that he’s nowhere near ready to begin dating again.
“I’m dating no one. I’m not even ready for that right now. I’m just trying to focus on my family and my children,” the actor told CNN.
Nick also admitted that he didn’t even really want to confirm their split to the public, but after a while, felt like he needed to.
“I never wanted to step out there and confirm or deny because it really wasn’t anyone else’s business,” he continued. “You have to speak on things because people are curious.”
And as he has done in previous interviews, Nick expressed that he, Mariah and the twins will always be a family and that they’re handling the divorce as a family would.
“We’re family and we’re human. We’re dealing with this as a family and we’ll forever be a family.”
They definitely appear to be handling things in a mature way. It’s even been reported that the foursome spent Thanksgiving together.
