GREAT BOOST! Diego Costa fit to face Man Utd
The Blues’ star striker and the EnglishPremier League’s leading goalscorer has recovered from his hamstring injury, and is set to start for JoseMourinho’s side in
Sunday’s game
The former Atletico Madrid man was initially tipped to miss the trip to Old Trafford after picking up a hamstring injury whilst on international duty, before falling ill to a virus which landed him in hospital.
However, as reported by the Daily Mail, the league’s leading goalscorer has overcome his latest injury woe, recovering from his illness, and after taking part in a Saturday training session, is now expected to start for the Blues’ clash with the 20-time English Premier League champions.
This will come as a big boost to Jose Mourinho who, after losing French striker Loic Remy to a muscular injury in the 6-0 victory over Maribor in the Champions League, looked to have to rely on veteran, 36-year-old Ivorian attacker Didier Drogba.
