Senior Boko Haram commander killed— Defence Headquarters

The Nigerian military said it killed a top commander of the terrorist group, Abu Mojahid, on Tuesday.
In a statement by the Defence spokesperson, Chris Olukolade said Mr. Mohajid was among the terrorists that died in an encounter with Nigerian troops in the outskirt of Algarno forest on Tuesday morning.
He said the terrorists had staged a daring attack on troops on patrol in the area.

“A number of the terrorists died as the troops repelled the attack. Some Rocket Propelled Grenades as well as vehicle mounted Anti-Aircraft guns were either captured or destroyed in the encounter,” Gen. Olukolade, said
